Prayer to St. Jude
O Saint Jude, special friend of all hopeless and helpless Christians, hear the cries arising from my crushed heart. Feelings of defeat circle all about me, and despair attempts to steal my joy. I find myself alone and struggling; there seems to be no way out of my afflictions. Yet, I remember the sweet promise of Jesus, “WHAT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HUMAN BEINGS IS POSSIBLE FOR God” – Lk 18:27 Glorious St. Jude, Apostle of the impossible, I beg your intercession. Plead with our Lord on behalf of my cause. Please pray ceaselessly that I may increase in faith, hope and love, and that my greatest desire would be to accept God’s perfect and holy will for my life. St. Jude, trusted and powerful patron of desperate causes, pray for me!
